About William Vega, the Artist.

Born in Vallegrande, Bolivia, William Vega studied  Oil painting at La Escuela de Bellas Artes from 1962  to 1964,  in Sao Paulo, Brasil, under Master Manglio Moretto.

From 1966 to 1969 William attended  La Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes  in La Paz - Bolivia.

In 1972 he moved to Spain attending  La Escuela De Artes y oficios “Massana” in  Barcelona.

William Vega has worked as a graphic correspondent for newspapers, magazines, and the music industry. He is also a professional photographer. His oil paintings have been in many group and solo exhibitions throughout the  world. Many of his original oil paintings form part of Private Collections all over the world. William 's work could be admired in many Art Galleries and Institutions.

The work of Master William Vega as a teacher and lecturer is well known by many contemporary artists in Europe and America.

Hundreds of his originals have been sold in Europe and America too. Some of them, like the painting on top of this page, are owned by institutions like the Masonic Temple in La Paz, Bolivia.
